*The following report is a beautifully legible piece of writing, the man having used the correct amount of ink required for every letter*
Cythan Justwatcher reporting on the Seventh of the Sixth:
All that I write here be true, upon the light and all it stands for.
On this day, I was brought into the Retinue and given my first assignment, I took these orders to obey and follow the elf known as Naryn'kal, we set out, from Astranaar in Ashenvale forest, moving along the road with several others, two being fellow "Greencoats" as we set out we found that the group we were stationed with were quite incompetent, a knight who rode a steed despite being on a scouting mission, for one. Despite this, the talk was light, nothing of importance spoken of on the way there, as we arrived close to Silverwing refuge we took to the trees, following the roots carefully so as not to be spotted, as we neared a camp we were told to halt by the elf known as Naryn'kal, she ordered fire upon -two- orcs, they were felled without much trouble, we were told then we could not enter from the front and the bodies would be disposed of by the aerial unit. After this we followed the road along, and were told to slide down a steep hill, or jump despite being in plate armor they would not wait for us, continuing along their way as we sorted ourselves out in getting down safely. In this time we were told to hold and wait on their return, they being both the night elves that accompanied us along the way, leaving all of us behind. They were gone for approx ten minutes. This was when we heard a cry from the road and Ma'am Deliverance remarked on the large numbers of trolls travelling along the road, by this point most of us were down the hill. As they came upon us we realized how outmanned we were, hopeless was the cause, for all of us to escape it seemed. Despite this the trolls seemed not to care for warfare but for talk, not only that, they were seven and we were four, having two of our members elsewhere. Two of the trolls came down to greet us, both speaking in broken common, seeking an artifact we were delaying until help arrived and we could find out exactly what they were looking for. Unfortunately the elves that arrived to aid us were focused upon slaying rather than upon gaining vital knowledge. After this several elves leaped into the fray and we joined, slaughtering or forcing the trolls to die. Some escaped in the confusion of war, I know not their exact number. They vowed vengeance upon us, for slaying their kin after this we returned to Astranaar, no troubles along the road save for one of our members, a knight being hamstringed by a random assailant who was quickly dispersed. Though once again the ineptitude of our comrades required them all to run to the aid of one man, leaving only three of us behind who were capable of relaying a message, though three were not needed.
I swear this is truth, on all that I deem of worth and upon my word.
Kings honor, Cythan the Justwatcher.
