Universal, and not class related, those are not real stats but work in a similar fashion.
They represent abilities that the character has learnt or studied over time; or difficult and situational aspects.
Meanwhile here a list is to be introduced, more can be brought in after debate.
Remember those works with points as well so to have one point is to have some knowledge on the matter, to put in many points makes you more proficient on the matter.
Some of them can entwine with main Stats for some specific tests.
One can use 1 DP to earn 2 Knowledge Points.
All of the Knowledge list work with a 1 to 1 ratio (As per you want 2 points in Knowledge1, you pay 2 points from your budget).
Riding.
To fight footed is a matter, to do it on horseback is an entirely different matter.
If you are mounted and are to fight, your melee skill is limited in maximum by this skill. This also applies to shooting with a ranged weapon, or spellcasting.
So if you have 3 Melee but only 1 Riding, and you fight on horseback, it's like having 1 Melee.
Blindfighting.
To fight is something many are trained into, but if you cannot see the whole fight changes in perception (or if you turn blind o magical darkness fall, etc)
If you are uncapable of seeing properly and are to fight, your melee skill is limited in maximum by this skill.
So if you have 3 Melee but only 1 Blindfighting, and you fight in dark environment where sight is precluded, it's like having 1 Melee.
Dancing
Has your character been educated in waltz? Or comes from a gypsy community where popular dances were common?
What's the purpose of this? At situation could come in play.
You have also to choose which type of dance your character knows between High Society, or Popular.
Playing instruments
Probably your character knows how to play musical instruments.
Not only this raises your skill the more you invest, but each point of knowledge you put in this, it allows you to pick 1 instrument that your character knows how to play.
So if you put two points, you can select Drums and Trumpet for example. If you put only one point, only one instrument.
Singing
Your vocal cords have been trained to perform singing of sort. This is not just the singing component but also the knowledge of texts and songs.
You are to choose one of the following three:
Sacred / Hymn / Choral - Popular / Individual - Bardic / Tales.
History
The knowledge beyond the most relevant facts. Probably everyone knows of the Three Wars, of the Plague, etcetera. This is what you use when you find in a particular situation and you need the detail.
Pick a race first. In case of humans you have also to pick between North and South.
Tumbling and Fumbling
Paired up with agility, this can allow some maneuvering around when non in armour or very light armour.
Remember this does not compute in fighting or provides avoidance from ranged attacks.
Survival
This packs up orientation, tracks acknowledgement, hunting beasts, etcetera.
Herbalism
Knowledge of herbs and plants, if they have properties and so on.
Animal Handling
Knowledge of behaviour of animals, empathy easening your approach to them, avoiding a horse knocking off two rangers in a row with his hooves, eventual capability to tame them or educate them at higher level. Also if you are to buy an animal, you can determine its age, conditions, etc.
Swimming
To just apply strength to your movements does not always suffices. This is the knowledge of how to swim properly.
Reading and Writing
Probably everyone knows how to read and write - yet if you do not have at least one point here, you won't! On the other hand, put enough points and you could try to produce false documents even, or write with a more fancy calligraphy.
Tongues
Fine, you know common. But other tongues?
You can pick a specific tongue in WoW, if you invest 1 point in it, your knowledge is basic and rudimental; 2 is decent and 3 you speak it fluently as your Common.
Lockpicking
Pretty self explaining!
Forbidden Lore / Spellcasting
This is the type of knowledge your character could get, without having a clue of how to cast a spell.
You could acknowledge by the gesturing of an opponent what kind of rite is being performed, or what spell is to be cast.
You are to pick among the options of the Magic and Faith that spellcasters can select.
First Aid - Medicine
At lower degrees it is counted as first aid, more points make it evolve in medicine. Not everyone knows how to properly clean a wound and use the old ways to mend the flesh or cure a illness; and not always a Faith / Magic healer can be around.
